Thoracic Outlet Syndrome International Collaborative Contact Find a TOS center

Objectives

Six commitments.

  1. Consensus definitions. Publish agreed definitions and reporting standards for neurogenic, venous and arterial TOS.
  2. An international registry. Maintain a de-identified registry with a common minimum dataset, open to every participating center.
  3. Multicenter research. Support studies with protocols, case report forms and statistical advice, so that small centers can contribute to large questions.
  4. Structured education. Provide teaching for clinicians entering the field, from anatomy through to the management of complications.
  5. Information for patients. Give patients accurate, readable information and a way to find an experienced center.
  6. Representation. Represent TOS in the wider surgical, neurological and rehabilitation communities.
