Objectives
Six commitments.
- Consensus definitions. Publish agreed definitions and reporting standards for neurogenic, venous and arterial TOS.
- An international registry. Maintain a de-identified registry with a common minimum dataset, open to every participating center.
- Multicenter research. Support studies with protocols, case report forms and statistical advice, so that small centers can contribute to large questions.
- Structured education. Provide teaching for clinicians entering the field, from anatomy through to the management of complications.
- Information for patients. Give patients accurate, readable information and a way to find an experienced center.
- Representation. Represent TOS in the wider surgical, neurological and rehabilitation communities.
